Under this scheme, brides of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), backward classes (BC), minorities and disabled will be assisted for their marriage. The main objective of this scheme “YSR Pellikaanuka” to help the poor girl by providing financial support and abolish child marriages and protect the bride by registering the marriage.Sanction AuthorityState Level – Director of Backward Classes Welfare Department.Rural Areas – Panchayat Raj DepartmentUrban Areas – Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department.This scheme will be implemented on the ground level according to the State Areas. In the rural areas, the panchayat raj department, along with the secretary, will implement the scheme. The Urban Development department and Municipal Administration will implement the scheme in urban areas of the state.Scheme Guidelines1. Applicants can register from Mandal Mahila Samakhya / Mepma office.2. Officers will then do field inspection.3.
