| Uttarakhand Saubhagyawati Yojana 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – Uttarakhand government will soon launch Saubhagyavati Yojana under which it would provide special kits with essential items for “proper care and nourishment” of pregnant women and newborns in the state. They would be provided with the kits which will include dry fruits, women and baby clothes, sanitary napkins, diapers, woolen shawl, blankets, bedsheets, soaps, oil, blankets and other items. There will also be arrangements to prepare local clothing and weather-friendly clothes in the kit. |
Provided Items for Pregnant women Kits under Saubhagyawati Yojana
The kit provided by the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department to pregnant women under the Saubhagyavati scheme includes items:
- 250 almond kernel / dry rosemary/walnut
- 500 grams of chuara (500 grams of chuara),
- 02 Cotton Gowns / Saree / Suits (Two Cotton Gowns / Saree / Suits),
- 01 shawl warm full size,
- 01 Scarf Cotton / Warm Standard Size (1 scarf cotton / warm standard size),

| Pregnant Women & Newborn Baby need to be motivated towards cleanliness along with a nutritious diet.Under this Scheme, along with proper care, arrangements have been made to give pregnant women and newborns proper nutrition.Income tax payers and dependents of government servants will not be included in the Saubhagyavati scheme to be launched in the state.There will be two separate kits provided for a pregnant woman and her newborn under the programme. It is to make sure that both of them are properly taken care of.The government has identified about 30,000-40,000 pregnant women as the beneficiaries under the programme in the first phase.There will also be arrangements to prepare local clothing and weather-friendly clothes in the kit. |
