The delimitation proceedings in Moradabad and Sambhal have been completed by January 18, 2021. In which the number of Gram Panchayat, Kshetra Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat has been fixed. In Zilla Panchayat, it has increased from 34 wards to 39 wards. There are 972 wards in Kshetra Panchayat and 643 in Gram Panchayat.

Earlier the date of publication of the final list was fixed as 22 January 2021 by the government. But updating software is taking time. Because of this, now the final list will be released in the first week of February.
Additional Election Commissioner Ved Prakash Verma has given instructions to update the software. The deadline of February 5 has been given to complete this work. After the software is updated, the electoral roll will be generated. After which the special revision and final publication will be issued.
