UP Scholarship 2022 Last Date Extended

As you all know, the UP Scholarship Scheme is run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Scholarships are provided to the students of the state through this scheme. so that he can get education. Due to this scheme, there is no need for any student to be deprived of education due to weak financial condition. Because the Uttar Pradesh government will provide financial assistance to them to get education through this scheme. The last date for students to apply online in the Post-Dasmottar Scholarship Scheme has been fixed as 10 January 2022 and the last date for forwarding the application from the institution has been fixed as 24 January 2022.

UP Scholarship Status 2022

As you all know, scholarship is distributed every year on 2nd October and 26th January. The Social Welfare Department, Minority Welfare Department and Backward Classes Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh distribute about 57 lakh scholarships to the students every year. This year, on the 71st foundation day of Uttar Pradesh, 1 lakh 43 thousand 929 scholarships have been distributed by the Social Welfare Department to the students. Announcing this, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has launched Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana to prepare for IAS, PCS etc. Under this scheme, free coaching will be provided to all the needy poor students.

The last date to apply under the UP Scholarship Scheme was fixed as 25 October 2021. Which has now been extended to 30 November 2021. All the students of the state studying in class 11th, 12th, undergraduate, postgraduate, medical, engineering, management etc. can apply online for scholarship and fee reimbursement from 29 October 2021 to 30 November 2021. So far, 3500000 applications have been received including SC, ST, general category, minority and OBC category. Out of which 1418000 applications have been forwarded by the educational institutions.

The last date set for forwarding all these applications was 28 October which will now be extended. Last year, 38 lakh 68 thousand students were provided fee reimbursement through this scheme. The amount of scholarship and fee reimbursement of all forwarded applications will be distributed by 30 November 2021. Scholarship this year will be provided one month in advance

More than 56 lakh students will be provided scholarship by the Uttar Pradesh government 1 month before this year. Scholarship amount will be provided to the students of the state till December 27, 2021 . Earlier this amount was given on 2 October and 26 January. Instructions have been given by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji to get the scholarship done one month in advance.

Preparations have been started by the Social Welfare Department to provide scholarships to the students . Scholarships are provided annually to more than 56 lakh students from poor families of the state. An amount of ₹ 4500 crore is spent by the government for this.
Instructions have been given by the department to make the payment of scholarship in a time bound manner. Apart from this, those students will be blacklisted who take scholarship from the government but do not deposit the fees in the school. For this, rules have also been made by the Social Welfare Department.

Minority Welfare

Scholarship will be provided to the students coming under the minority through UP Scholarship. Scholarship will also be provided to the students coming from backward class through UP Scholarship. Under this scheme, the process of online application has been started for the students. Key Facts of Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Scheme

UP Scholarship is equally available for all the applicants of any caste category like General, OBC, SC, ST etc.
Under this scheme candidates from colleges who are blacklisted by the authority are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
It is important for the students to attach the hardcopy of the photocopy of the bank passbook along with the application form.
Applicants have to provide their working email id and mobile phone number.

Eligibility Criteria for UP Scholarship

There is a very detailed eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship scheme in the state of UP.

The applicant must simply be a resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Applicants must be enrolled in any school or college in the state.
For the scholarship under Pre-matric class 9-10 category, students must be studying in class 9th or class 10th.
For UP Scholarship Post Matric, students must have passed 10th (High School) and enrolled in class 11th or class 12th.

Some Important Instructions for UP Scholarship Students

If the data given by the students comes under doubt category then the students will have to answer the reason of doubt along with the evidence online through the institution.
If any information is entered incorrectly by the student, the answer will be the responsibility of the student. In this case the application will be rejected.
If the information of any other student is entered by the student in the application form, then in this situation, penal action will be taken against the student and the institution as per the rules.
The application form will be submitted by the student to the educational institution himself. Applicant should not hand over this application form to any other person for submission.
After submitting the application form in the educational institution, it is necessary to take the acknowledgment receipt.
Do not share the password entered by you or any other information entered in the form with any other person.
Fill the application form before the last date.
The application form will not be considered as submitted before taking the final print out for submission to the educational institution.
The status of his/her application can be accessed by the student by logging in.
While applying, students will have to enter their own e-mail id and their own mobile number obtained from Aadhaar number.
If the student does not receive the funds in the first year, he/she need not apply again. In this case renewal will be done by the student.
Check the amount of mandatory annual fee from your institution before filling the form.
The final print can be taken for the institution after 3 days after the submission of the application form.
If any mistake has been made by the applicant in the application form, then after 3 days the application can be amended.
All the students have been requested to fill their application form themselves and also generate their own password.
If the student is applying from cyber cafe or institution, then after entering all the information in this situation, make sure to check it once.
While submitting your bank account details, keep in mind that your bank account should be linked with Aadhaar.
Make sure that the account given by you remains operational and has a minimum balance.
The online temporary locking of the application form can be done by the student only after authentication of the Aadhaar number and entering the OTP received on the Aadhaar link mobile number.
The information mentioned on the high school mark sheet and the certificate should not be different in the Aadhar card.

Important Instructions for Institutions

The educational institution offering the course recognized by AICTE must have NBA grading. Private university must have NAAC grading B or above.
In case of any problem by the students, the District Social Welfare Officer of the district can be contacted.
Only those institutes can be included in the master database in which the courses conducted will be recognized on or before 15 July 2021.
Those educational institutions which are included in the master database will have to update all the details from their educational institution in the academic year 2021-22.
It is mandatory to register the mobile number, email, PAN number and Aadhaar number of the principal and nodal officer of the educational institution on the website.
To be included in the master data, the institute has to register by visiting the official website. After verification of registration, the institute can get its login and password from the District Social Welfare Officer.
It has been made mandatory for all educational institutions to upload the digital signature of their nodal officer.
It is mandatory for the institutes to fill all the information related to their institute in time.
The institute must have a U dice code and AISH e code.
The reason for the evening parent data will be given in the state level scotney.
The information related to various information displayed from time to time can be accessed by the organization by login.
Institutions will be provided with the facility to receive, verify and forward the student’s application online.
If a student fails in the examination or leaves the institution, then in this situation this information will have to be recorded online by the institution on the scholarship portal.
While forwarding the application of the students, it is mandatory to ensure that the fees for the courses opted by the students are mentioned by the institution.
After receiving the details of the students online, the student’s application form should be forwarded only after the institution has properly tested the student.
For the year 2021-22, all the new students will have to fill the Aadhar number in their application and the renewal students will have to fill the university enrollment number and board registration number.

Guidelines for the students and students of the native of Uttar Pradesh studying outside the state

Those institutions which are located outside the state will have to go to the scholarship portal and apply for their institution online through the option given in the institute section.
To obtain the login ID and password for the institution, a copy of the application form on the prescribed format has to be sent along with all the records to [email protected] .
Only students studying in government and government aided educational institutions outside the state can get the benefit of this scheme.
Apart from this, only SC/ST and general category students in other states can get the benefit of this scheme.
All those students are studying outside the state, the application of those students will be valid under the general category only if they do not come under the reserved category of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Those students who are admitted without fee due to income limit or other reasons will not be provided the benefit of this scheme.
Students who are getting the benefit of any other scholarship scheme are also not digested to get the benefit of this scheme.
It is mandatory for all students to enter their Aadhaar number and enrollment number for renewal students.
It is mandatory for only government and government aided educational institutions located outside the state to join the master database by applying online through the prescribed login on the scholarship website within the time limit.
Any request for inclusion of entity in the master data will not be entertained after the expiry of the time limit.
Students admitted to educational institutions under Management Quota/Admission are not eligible for scholarship.
Only SC/ST and general category students of the institute included in the master database can apply.
It will be mandatory to verify and forward the applications received by the institution.
Along with this, it will be mandatory to send hard copy along with all the records to the District Social Welfare Officer of the student’s home district after verification of the institute.
It will be mandatory for the educational institution to enter its fee details on the scholarship portal.
Only mandatory refundable charges will be included in the fee.
Fee will not include hostel, mesh fee and caution money.
Students of only those institutions can apply under this scheme, which institutions are included in the master data.
After the institutions have submitted the application form from the student, the student will have to give an acknowledgment.
