Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) Exam Pattern –
Paper 1 (for Classes 1 to 5) – Child Development and Pedagogy 30 questions, Language 1 Punjabi – 30 questions, Language 2 – English, Mathematics – 30 questions, Environmental Studies – 30 questions. Total questions 150 question, each question will carry 1 mark total of 150 questions.
Paper 2 (for Classes 6 to 8) – Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions, Language 1 – Punjabi – 30 questions, Language 2 – English – 30 questions, Mathematics & Science/Social Studies/Social Science – 60 questions. Total questions 150 and each question will carry 1 mark and a total of 150 marks.
Qualifying marks – A candidate who secures 60% or more in TET will be considered as a TET pass. Also, persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc in accordance with their extant reservation policy. Qualifying in Teacher Eligibility Test would not confer a right on any person for recruitment or job. It is only a part of the eligibility criteria for an appointment.
Punjab TET Answer Key 2022
The appropriate department conducting the TET exam shall award a TET Certificate to all successful aspirants. PSTET Certificate should contain vital information like Candidate’s Name, Registration number, year/month of award of a certificate, marks obtained in each paper, and subject.
