1.31 lakh crores will be spent on the operation of Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana . Rs 54061.73 crore will be provided by the central government for the operation of this scheme and the contribution of the states will be Rs 31733.17 crore. The Center will provide an additional 45,000 crores to buy nutritious food grains. Apart from this, 90% of the expenditure for the operation of this scheme in the hill states will be borne by the Central Government and 10% will be borne by the State Government. Through this scheme, food will be provided to the students of primary classes in government and government aided schools across the country.
