To get the benefit of this scheme, it is mandatory to have any identity card or Aadhar card, Matri Shishu Suraksha card, photo copy of bank passbook for registration for the first time pregnant and her husband. Apart from this, the bank account should not be joint. Through this scheme, an amount of ₹ 5000 will be provided to pregnant women in 3 installments.

Women Benefited Under UP Matritva Vandana Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana has been started with the objective of providing nutrition to women who are getting pregnant for the first time . Under this scheme, a total of 12707 women have been benefited in Lucknow district from 1st April 2020 to 28th June 2021 during the Corona period. This information has been provided by Chief Medical Officer Dr Sanjay Bhatnagar. This scheme is being operated from 1st January 2017. Under which Rs 5000 is provided in three installments for nutrition to a woman who is pregnant for the first time. The first installment is of ₹ 1000, the second installment is of ₹ 2000 and the third installment is of ₹ 2000.

The amount of the first installment is provided on registration within 150 days of conception, the amount of the second installment is given within 180 days and the amount of the third installment is given after delivery and first vaccination of the child. Efforts are being made to extend the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana to every woman.

A total of 59738 women of Lucknow district got the benefit of the scheme

Madhya Pradesh ranks first in providing benefits
