PM Daksh Yojana 2022
The portal and mobile app of PM Daksha Yojana has been launched by the Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Virendra Kumar on 5 August 2021 . This scheme is also known as Pradhan Mantri Efficiency and Skilled Beneficiary Scheme. Through this scheme, free training will be provided to the target group of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Safai Karamcharis. All eligible beneficiaries will be provided training under up skilling / re-skilling, short term training program, long term training program and entrepreneurship development program through this scheme. In the year 2021-22, benefits will be provided to 50000 youth through PM Daksh Yojana .
All those trainees whose attendance will be 80% or more will be given an amount ranging from ₹ 1000 to ₹ 3000 as stipend and salary compensation. A certificate will also be provided to the beneficiary after successful completion of the training. Apart from this, placements will also be provided after evaluation and certification of the candidates.
PM Daksha Yojana 2022 Application
With the launch of this scheme, employment opportunities will increase across the country. You do not need to visit any government office to apply under PM Daksha Yojana. You can apply under this scheme by visiting the official website of this scheme sitting at home. After applying, you can get training from the nearest training center. All the identified beneficiaries will be provided training with transparency. So that employment opportunities can be created. PM Daksha Yojana will be operated by the Central Social Justice and Empowerment Department. Through this scheme, 2.7 lakh youth will be provided benefits in the next 5 years.
Question Program under PM Daksha Yojana
up skilling / re skilling
- Under this program, financial and digital literacy will be provided to rural artisans, sanitation workers etc. Apart from this, training will also be provided to them in pottery, weaving, sharpening, household work etc.
- This program will be of 32 to 80 hours.
- The cost of training will be limited to the extent of normal cost norms.
- ₹ 2500 will be provided as compensation for loss of salary to all the beneficiaries undergoing training.
short term training
- The various job roles under this program will be as per the National Skill Qualification Framework or National Occupational Standards issued by MSDE.
- Under short term training, training will be provided for salary or self-employment opportunities with financial and digital literacy such as tailoring training, furniture manufacturing, food processing etc.
- This training will be of 200 hours to 600 hours and will be of 6 months.
- The training cost will be limited to the extent of normal cost norms. (Other than giving stipend to the trainees in case of non-residential training)
entrepreneurship development program
- This program will be for those youth of Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes who have received skill training under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana and their thinking is entrepreneurial.
- The duration of this program will be 80 to 90 hours or 10 to 15 days.
- The training cost will be limited to the extent of normal cost norms.
- The program will consist of sessions like Business Officer Guidance, Market Survey, Working Capital and its Management Man.
long term program
- Through this program long-term training will be provided to the candidates in the areas which have good demand in the market.
- The training program will be provided as per NSQF, NCVT, AICTE, MSME etc in areas like production technology, plastic processing, garment technology, health care sector etc.
- The duration of this program will be 5 months or more or 1 year (1000 hours).
- The training cost will be limited to the extent of normal cost norms. (Other than giving stipend to the trainees in case of non-residential training)

Purpose of PM Daksha Yojana
The main objective of PM Daksh Yojana is to provide short term and long term skills to the targeted youth. So that their skill level can be increased. Apart from this, assistance will also be provided to them in self-employment through this scheme. This scheme will also increase the skill level of the artisans through upskilling and reskilling programme. Beneficiaries can increase their income by getting training through this scheme. So that their standard of living will improve. Now the citizens of the target group of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Safai Karamcharis of the country will be provided training according to their capability . Beneficiaries need not worry about financial expenses for getting training as this training will be provided to them free of cost.

Eligibility to apply under PM Daksha Yojana
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
- The age of the beneficiary should be between 18 to 45 years.
