One District One Product(ODOP) was launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to encourage and revive aboriginals’ arts and craft products. The scheme would help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to produce and promote products that are unique in Uttar Pradesh.

| One District One Product 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has announced that it will implement ‘One District, One Product’ (ODOP) scheme for the farmers, for which 45 districts of Uttar Pradesh have been included. The successful implementation of the scheme is expected to benefit lakhs of the farmers of the state.The CM had announced the ODOP scheme in January 2018. Products like ‘Kalanamak rice’ of Siddharthanagar, banana fibre of Kushinagar, banana of Kaushambi, jaggery of Ayodhya, aamla of Pratapgarh, pulses of Balrampur and Gonda, desi ghee of Auraiya, handicraft made of wheat stalk in Bahraich, wooden toys of Chitrakoot, wooden artifacts of Saharanpur, Basti, Bijnor, Rae Bareli etc. are included in the ODOP scheme.The government will soon launch a ‘One Product One District’ programme for every district in the country to expand the outreach of their ‘special’ product not just in India but across the world, according to the Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.75 districts of the state have some identity. One District One Product (ODOP) Support Scheme for Financing (ODOP Marginal Money Yojana)
Under the scheme, only the projects/units of the ODOP product identified for the respective district will get the facility of financing in the field of industry, service and business.
Objective: The objective of the scheme is to benefit artisans/workers/entrepreneurs through financial incentives for the overall development of selected products under One District One Product (ODOP).
Benefits:
1) For units of total project cost up to Rs.25.00 lakhs under the scheme, 25% of the project cost or a maximum of Rs.6.25 lakhs, whichever is less, will be payable as margin money.
2) For units with a total project cost of more than Rs 25 lakh and up to 50.00 lakh, the amount will be payable as Rs 6.25 lakh or 20% of the project cost, whichever is higher, as margin money.
3) For units with a total project cost of more than Rs 50 lakh and up to Rs 150.00 lakh, the amount will be payable in the form of margin money of Rs 10 lakh or 10 percent of the project cost, whichever is higher.
4) For units with a total project cost of more than Rs 150.00 lakh, 10 percent of the project cost or a maximum of Rs 20 lakh, whichever is less, will be payable as margin money.
Eligibility:
- The applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
- There is no obligation of educational qualification.
- The applicant or entity should not be a defaulter of any nationalized bank / financial institution/government institution etc.
- Under the scheme, the applications of selected candidates are sent to the bank and loan is sanctioned and distributed.

One District One Product Training & Toolkit Scheme (ODOP Training & Toolkit Scheme)
To provide general technical training related to the product identified for a particular district, Kraft’s basic and advanced training and entrepreneurship development training, through various institutions and entire value chain of ODOP products under one district one product program.
Objective: In order to meet the current and future requirements of skilled workforce, a district has a product training and toolkit distribution scheme. In addition, the relevant advanced tool-kit will be distributed to the artisans / workers under the post-training scheme.
Benefits:
(1) Under the scheme, a total of 10 days of skill and entrepreneurship training will be provided to the selected persons.
(2) – The training program will be free and non-resident.
(3) – The trainee gets Rs. 200 / – will be given an honorarium.
Trainee eligibility-
(1) – The age of the trainee should be minimum 18 years as on the date of application.
(2) – The trainee must be a native of Uttar Pradesh.
(3) – There will be no obligation of educational qualification.
(4) – The applicant has not received the benefit of the toolkit related to the product under any other scheme of the Government of India or the State in the last 02 years.
(5) – The applicant or any member of his family will be benefited only once under the scheme. Family means husband and wife.
