Under this scheme, it will be ensured that the eligible families have their own land to meet all their basic needs. Under this scheme, all those families of rural areas are eligible to apply, who do not have any residential facility available to live.
Following conditions issued for applicants
- Application can be submitted online through SAARA portal.
- Under this scheme, only those applicant families will be able to apply who are residents of the respective villages.
- Plot will be provided to each eligible family through this scheme. Family means husband and wife and their unmarried sons and daughters.
- Village wise list of all eligible families will be published so that objections and suggestions can be invited from the concerned villagers.
- The period for inviting objections and suggestions will be 10 days.

- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- The applicant or his family should not own any pucca house.
- Those citizens who do not have any land and earn their livelihood through casual labor can also apply under this scheme.
- Such families in which there is no male or adult member in the age group of 16 to 59 years are also eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.
- There should not be any literate adult in the family above the age of 25 years.
- The family which has a house to live independently is not eligible to get the benefit of the scheme.
- Families having land more than 5 acres also cannot get the benefit of this scheme.
- Those families who are not eligible to get ration from the Public Distribution System shop also cannot get the benefit of this scheme.
- If any member of the family is an income tax payer or is in government service, then he is also not eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.

- Families who have freely available housing.
- The applicant from whom the family has more than 5 acres of land.
- If the applicant family does not have an eligibility slip to get ration from the Public Distribution System shop, then even in this situation the benefit of this scheme cannot be obtained.
- The benefit of the scheme cannot be obtained even if any member of the family is the right giver.
- No member of the applicant’s family should be in government service.
- The name of the applicant should be in the same village where he wants the residential plot.
- If the name of the applicant is not registered in the voter list as on 1st January 2021, then even in this situation the benefit of this scheme cannot be availed.

Land Allotment Process
- Only those applicant families will be eligible to apply, who are residents of the respective village.
- The applicant will have to submit the application in the prescribed format through the online SAARA portal to get the residential plot under this scheme.
- The above-submitted application will be examined and sent to the Tehsildar through the Secretary of the concerned Gram Panchayat and the Patwari.
- According to the report received, a village-wise list of eligible/ineligible applicants will be prepared after preliminary examination.
- The list will be published for inviting objections or suggestions to the concerned village residents in 10 days.
- Its information will be posted in public places like Chaupal, Gudhi, Chavadi etc. and in Gram Panchayat offices.
- After examining the objections and suggestions etc. received during the time period, the Tehsildar will prepare a list of eligible/ineligible applicants and send it for the opinion of the concerned Gram Sabha.
- After receiving the opinion, order will be passed for allotment of plots to the eligible applicants through Tehsildar after due examination.
- No premium will be payable for the allotment of land and land revenue will be determined on the allotted plot under the provisions of MP Land Revenue Code.
