The government of Maharashtra has launched ” Swadhar Yojana 2020-21″ for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Neo Buddhist category students. Under this scheme, students in class 10th, 12th, degree, diploma and professional courses will get Rs 51,000 / – per year as assistance from the government. This assistance will be given for their accommodation, boarding facilities and other expenses.

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Maharashtra Swadhar Yojana under Maharashtra Social Welfare Department i.e. sjsa.maharashtra.gov.in.

| Applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.The students’ parents’ annual income is not more than 2.50,000/-.After the class of 10th or 12th, the duration of the course in which the student wants to take admission should be less than 2 years.Applicants applying under Maharashtra Swadhar Yojana 2022 should pass 60% marks in the previous examination.Students should have their own bank account and it is mandatory to link the bank account with Aadhaar card.To qualify for Physically Challenged / Physically Challenged, at least the applicant should have 40% marks in the final examination.Students who take benefit of this scheme’s advantages, including professional programs, would not benefit from this scheme’s subsistence. |
