Exam Date For Aptitude Test 2022 Released

Indian Institute of Science conducts the aptitude test in order to screen eligible students. The IISC Bangalore has released the exam date for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana exam 2021. The aptitude test under the scheme will be held on 9th January 2022. All those students who have registered to appear in this exam can check their details at the official website. Special committees are set up in order to conduct this aptitude test. After screening students based on this test, shortlisted students are called for the final round of interviews. The marks obtained in the Aptitude test and interview are considered for the fellowship.

Application Dates Extended Under Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana

The dates to apply under Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana has been extended by the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. Eligibility Criteria

  • Stream SA: 10th standard passed applicant with 75% (65% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in aggregate in mathematics and science subjects and take admission in 11th standard are eligible to apply for the Aptitude test. Fellowship will be entitled only when they take admission in B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S. after securing 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in 12th board examination from Science subjects.
  • Stream SX: Applicants who are in 12th standard with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics & Biology subject leading to pursue B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S. course are also eligible to apply for aptitude test. Conditionally the applicant must secure75% (65% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in aggregate in mathematics and science subjects in 10th standard board examination. Fellowship will entitled only when they take admission in B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S. after securing 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in 12th board examination.
  • Stream SB: students who are in 1st year in B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S. and must securing 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) marks in 12th board examination are also eligible to apply.
  • Applicant must be a PwD/ SC/ ST candidate.
