The Government of Chhattisgarh has decided to introduce Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Swastyha Sahayata Yojana and Chief Minister Special Health Assistance Scheme to provide better treatment facilities to the citizens.
All the schemes that provide other health facilities prevalent in the state under this scheme are Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, Chief Minister Bal Hriday Suraksha Yojana, Chief Minister Bal Shravan Yojana and National Child Health Program (Vivaray) Scheme in this new scheme Will be included.

Important information for patients-
New registration from hospitals will be done at new rates – until the new package of treatment is determined, the old contracted hospitals will treat the old package. Hospitals will be renewed with the new package being implemented. Right now patients can get treatment in contracted hospitals, hospitals will have to be treated.
Both smart cards, ration cards will run – the old smart cards will continue to run in hospitals. No decision has been taken yet to make new cards. Those who have ration cards can also avail the scheme.

Dr. Khubchand Baghel Swasthya Sahayata Yojana Cashless Treatment
Dr. Khabchand Baghel Health Support Scheme has been divided by the state government on the basis of APL and BPL category. Based on the categories, the benefit of the scheme will be provided to the citizens. The details of the health aid amount are shown below through the ration card category.

Assistance under Khandchand Baghel Health Assistance Scheme
- A cashless treatment of ₹ 500000 will be provided to the holders of Purity and Antyodaya Ration Card.
- The remaining ration card holders will be provided with a cashless treatment of ₹ 50000.
- A cashless treatment of ₹ 500000 will be provided to all the beneficiaries covered under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
