Karnataka Surya Raitha Scheme Online Registration Process
The Karnataka Government has launched the Karnataka Suryan Rath Yojana to provide solar powered pump sets to the farmers . The state government is stressing on the use of these solar powered pumps instead of existing irrigation pumps as additional energy production for irrigation.
The Surya Raitha Scheme is financed by merging various subsidies for farmers and interest-free soft loans from BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company).
