Kanya Sumangla Yojana 2022

1.01 lakh new beneficiaries will be added under the scheme

Swalamban camp will be organized

Kanya Sumangala Yojana was launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh with the aim of making women empowered and self-reliant . Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided in 6 installments after the birth of the girl child. Under this scheme, self-reliance camp will be organized from October to December. Through these camps, the applications of eligible beneficiaries will be received and they will be benefited. These camps will be organized on 26 October, 12 and 25 November and 8 and 22 December in all the districts. So far more than 10 lakh girl children have been benefitted through this scheme.

The amount payable through this scheme will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries through PFMS. The benefit of this scheme will be provided only to the permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, only those families whose family annual income is maximum ₹ 300000 and whose family has maximum two children are eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.

2 lakh new beneficiaries will be added to the schemes

The decision to add 2 lakh new beneficiaries under Kanya Sumangla by December 2021 has been taken by the Uttar Pradesh government. Through this scheme ₹15000 is provided to the girl child over a period of 15 years. New beneficiaries will be identified in all 75 districts. This information has been provided by Manoj Rai, Director of Women Welfare and Child Development. Through this scheme, the girl child can be helped to become educated and self-reliant. Each district has been given a specific target. so that he can act accordingly. A target has been set to cover at least 70000 beneficiaries by 15 October 2021 in all the districts.

9.91 girls have reached the benefit of the scheme so far

As you all know Kanya Sumangla was started on 1st April 2019 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Through this scheme, an amount of ₹ 15,000 will be provided to the daughters of the state over a period of 15 years. This amount will be provided in installments. The amount of the last installment will be provided to the girl when she takes admission in graduation or diploma course. Under Kanya Sumangala Yojana, till now 9.91 lakh beneficiaries have been transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer. This information was provided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 12 September 2021. Apart from this, 1.55 lakh new eligible girls have been registered under this scheme under Mission Shakti Abhiyan.

9.36 lakh girl child benefitted

Kanya Sumangala Yojana in the year 2019 to provide financial assistance to the family of girls of the state, to establish equal sex ratio in the state, to take care of the health and education of the girl child and to remove the negative thinking towards the girl child. was launched. A total of 9.36 lakh girls have been benefitted under Kanya Sumangla Yojana so far. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the girl child in 6 installments. The first installment is of ₹ 2000 which is provided at the time of birth. The second installment is provided after 1 year of vaccination which is ₹ 1000.

On taking admission in class 1, the third installment is provided which is of ₹ 2000. On taking admission in class 6, the fourth installment is provided which is of ₹ 2000. The fifth installment is provided on taking admission in class 9, which is ₹ 3000. The sixth installment is provided on taking admission in the diploma course, which is ₹ 5000.

Publicity of the scheme will be done through Mission Shakti Abhiyan

Under Kanya Sumangala Yojana , the installment amount is transferred to the beneficiary’s account through PFMS. Only permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh can get the benefit of this scheme. To get the benefit of this scheme, the annual income of the family should be ₹ 300000 or less and there should be maximum 2 children in the family. A special campaign has been conducted in July-August 2021, through which eligible girls have been selected and girls have been benefitted. Apart from this, this scheme will be promoted in the earlier phases of Mission Shakti and the coming phases as well.

Questionnaire camp will also be organized every 15 days in the month of August. Through these camps, applications can be made under this scheme. Cooperation of various public representatives and various departments of the state will be taken in promoting this scheme.

Kanya Sumangala Yojana January Update

As you all know girl students are encouraged to get education under Kanya Sumangala Yojana . Under this scheme, Rs 2000 is provided to the girl students enrolled in class 1. ₹2000 is also provided to the girl students enrolled in class 6. ₹3000 is provided to the girl students enrolled in class 9 and ₹3000 to the girl students after passing class 10th and 12th. After this, financial assistance of ₹ 5000 is provided to the girl students enrolling in graduation or diploma course of 2 years or more. Now the government will extend the benefit of this scheme to 15000 girl students studying in primary, upper primary, secondary and higher education of Lucknow. The selection process has been started by the government. This selection process will be done through the school.

Kanya Sumangala Yojana will benefit 16000 daughters

 So far a total of 27000 applications have been received under Kanya Sumangala Yojana, out of these 27000 applications, 11 thousand applications are ineligible and 2100 applications are pending in various departments. The government has been directed to clear these pending applications at the earliest. 352 in SDM Aurai, 376 in Bhadohi, 704 in Gyanpur, 345 in DIOS office, 16 in BSA office, 14 in probation office, 235 in Block Abholi, 612 in Aurai, 224 in Bhadohi, 207 in Gyanpur and 316 in Deegh is pending.
