Haryana Pashudhan Bima Yojana 2022
Haryana Pashudhan Bima Yojana has been started by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Milking, Haryana. The scheme was launched on 29 July 2016. Under this scheme, insurance cover will be provided to the animals. This insurance cover will be provided to cows, buffaloes, bullocks, camels, sheep, goats and pigs. For which premium ranging from ₹ 25 to ₹ 100 will have to be paid. After payment of this premium, all these animals will be provided with an insurance cover for a period of 3 years. If the animal dies during this 3 year period then compensation will be provided to the animal by the insurance company. Scheduled caste citizens can take advantage of this scheme free of cost.
Under the Haryana Pashudhan Bima Yojana 2022 , a target has been set to cover about one lakh animals. Through this scheme, the animal owners will be saved from financial loss due to the death of the animals.
