National Livelihood Mission
This scheme is divided into two parts, first for rural India and second for urban India. The urban component named as Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana will be implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (HUPA) and the rural component in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana will be implemented by the Ministry of Rural Development.
Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana Mission

This means construction of houses for the homeless and road goods sellers, waste pickers etc. for private and group micro construction in cities. Measures to increase the income and employment opportunities for the poor living in the state will be provided by the central government. The Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana for urban areas under this National Urban Livelihoods Mission will cover all 4041 cities and towns and almost cover the entire urban population.
National Rural Livelihood Mission
Under this mission, to provide various sources of livelihood to the poor people through community institutions of rural areas and to remove poverty of the poor people of rural areas. Under this scheme 10 lakh people of rural areas will be trained. This centrally sponsored program has been implemented in collaboration with the states. This mission was launched in 2011. This National Rural Livelihoods Mission has been implemented in 4,459 blocks under 586 districts in 29 states and 5 union territories. In the financial year 2017-18, 1.28 lakh rural youth were trained and out of these, 69,320 youths were placed in better remunerated places. But got employment.
Objective of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana 2022

- More than 1,000 permanent shelters have been established. Which will provide home to at least 60000 shayari homeless people.
- 16 lakh street vendors have been identified and given identity cards.
