The objective of this scheme is to provide means of livelihood to all the general and unemployed local youths and young people in all 168 urban bodies of the state. The weekly Haat-Bazaar and Pauni-Pasari are integral parts of Chhattisgarhi culture. As a result of increasing urbanization, the traditional businesses and businessmen of Pauni-Pasari are gradually ending. For this, the Pauni-Pasari scheme has been started in all 166 urban bodies. 255 Pauni-Pasari markets will be constructed at a cost of 30 lakhs per unit.
