Chhattisgarh Bhagini Prasuti Sahayata Yojana has been launched by the Government of Chhattisgarh. Under this scheme, the amount of financial assistance will be provided in 3 installments. The first installment will be provided in the first trimester of pregnancy. Only those building and other construction workers will be given the benefit of this scheme, who are registered as a female or male beneficiary under section 12 of the Act and according to section 13 of the Act, have a beneficiary identity card before 1 year from the date of application of the scheme. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the first two children only. In case the female laborer dies during the presentation, the Maternity Assistance Scheme will be paid to the husband of the woman.
