Eligibility of Bihar Centenary Private Tube-Well Scheme 2021

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar state.
• The farmer applying under this scheme must have 40 decimals of land in his name.
• Minimum 16 percent of Scheduled Castes and 1 percent of Scheduled Tribe farmers will be selected in each district. If Scheduled Tribes are unavailable, it will be 17 percent by adding 1 percent to 16 percent for Scheduled Castes. A separate arrangement will be made for the accounting of their grants.
• Under this scheme, priority will be given to small / marginal farmers of Bihar.
• The farmer should have minimum 0.40 acres (40 decimil) of cultivable land. Grant will be admissible to a farmer for only one boring and set.
