Bihar Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana Objective
Under this scheme, a pension amount of Rs 400 per month will be provided by the government to the elderly between 60 and 79 years of age in Bihar and Rs 500 per month to the elderly aged 80 years or above. The state government wants to empower the senior citizen and to fulfil this motive the Social Welfare Department has started this Bihar Universal Old Age Pension Scheme.
