Summary: Assam State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the ceremonial launch of ‘Abhinandan’-a progressive scheme by the state Finance department on December 26.
Acording to reports, the scheme will provide one time subsidy of Rs. 50,000 in education loan to 1546 students.
Under the Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme of last year, students who have taken education loans from banks at any point of time will get a subsidy of Rs. 50,000. The objective of this scheme is to provide a loan subsidy of up to Rs 50,000 on education loans to students pursuing higher education from good institutions.

Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme Online Registration Process
The Abhinandan education loan subsidy scheme of Assam govt. will immensely help students who have availed students loan. For new beneficiaries, the state government has opened a website, www.assamfinanceloans.in, wherein students can register by 20th September to avail the benefits. The subsidies of Rs. 50,000 will be released from 7th to 10th of October. The Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme has been started with the Housing Scheme. Under this scheme, the Government of Assam will provide a one-time subsidy on loans to all students pursuing higher education on education loans. Under the Abhinandan Scheme all major banks, all commercial banks such as Federal Bank and HDFC are included.
In the online form the applicant shall be required to provided information about her/his father’s name guardian’s name, contact information, Pan Card and details about loan & the IFSC code of the branch from which it is availed.
Procedure to Apply Online Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme Application Form 2022
Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme i.e. https://assamfinanceloans.in/.
Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “Apply” button.
Step 3- Application Form page will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as Applicant Name, Father’s Name, Date Of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Pan Card Details, Bank Details and other information) and upload documents (Loan Proof, Address Proof & Pan Card Proof).
Step 5- Click on Submit Button for the final submission of the application.
Note: After successful submission of application, the application should take a print of the application form and keep it safely for future reference. After that Assam Government will deposit subsidy amount of Rs. 50,000 into your education loan account.
